The Dead Shot rub went well with the candy apple bbq sauce. The Apple flavor was the bomb!!

Not gonna lie caught me off guard at first but the more I ate it the more it grew on me. I absolutely love it on Pork Steaks covered in that Candy Apple BBQ Sauce!

I finally got around to using this rub today on a couple of racks of baby back ribs and I absolutely love the flavor. I smoked the ribs using the whiskey barrel chunks and both complement the ribs very well. I am looking forward to using the rub on other pork cuts in the future. I was going to use the apple pie BBQ sauce on one rack of ribs, but unfortunately we didn't have power due to hurricane Milton so I didn't want to open the bottle until the power came back on....which ironically came back on after dinner.

Dead shot has a very nice aroma. Rubbed bone in pork chops with pale ale mustard then put Dead shot on and let them sit twenty minutes. They grilled up nice . The flavor was not to sweet and definitely got the taste of the black pepper. Can't wait to try it on a smoked pork roast. Cheers!!
